"Remember the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal? I've always felt the UK's Angel Witch were one of the finest bands in the genre but sadly, at least in the States, they received no media attention. This is Angel Witch recorded Saturday February 7, 1981 at a pub that was closing for good shortly after this gig, The Norbreck Castle in Blackpool, UK. Soundboard quality, this one's an easy A+. Interesting set list in that they play "They Wouldn't Dare" and "Evil Games" which were two of three tracks (the other being "Nowhere To Run") which weren't recorded until late June of 1982 and mastered nearly a year later, in May of 1983. To the best of my knowledge, those tracks weren't even released until 1996's "82 Revisited" CD was released. Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" is a great set-ender. "
